Battle for the Capital Signups

Kim Lloyd

Sporting Albany Players and Parents!

Our 2nd Annual Battle for the Capital  tournament is here and we need you!  This tournament is being held on 2 different weekends-March 11-12  and March 18-19.  (See specifics below).

If order to make this tournament a success we need parents and players to donate time and concession items so that we can maximize our success!

A Sign up Genius link will be coming to you soon! We are asking both parents and players to donate; 1)  TIME -volunteering to work concessions on a day or weekend when your son is NOT playing.  2)  donating food items for concession that will feed hungry families and players.

(Crock pot items, mac & cheese baked goods,fruit,...  items your child likes at tournaments etc., are all options for you to consider,. The club hopes to get pizzas donated and water, so that's taken care of as are candy items.)

IMPORTANT: When you sign up for food, please BRING FOOD TO THE EVENT WHEN/WHERE your child plays.   When you volunteer to help with concession, please sign up for a weekend or place your child does NOT play. If we all give an hour or two...this will be a breeze!!!!

Sporting Albany players and other student volunteers other outside of Sporting Albany, can receive volunteer hours for Community Service!

See our website for updates ( sportingalbanyvb.org) and look for a link, coming soon, to your email for concession and food donations   I've pasted the information for tournament dates and times below!  Thanks so much!   -Betsy Dollard (dollard283@gmail.com)
